Are there special network requirements for WiFi calling?
The saying goes that call quality and coverage depend on the strength of the network and the internet connection.
There are no minimum requirements for the WiFi network for WiFi calling to work. However, be aware that a weak WiFi signal, in the same way as with normal internet use, can cause outages and lower quality. In addition, the utilization of your general internet connection will also play a part. If you have 100 people using a 50/50 Mbit connection to stream HD videos, both video quality and WiFi calls will suffer because the demand is greater than the connection's capacity. This can also lead to a poor experience.
Therefore, consider whether your internal network has a strong enough signal in various rooms and whether your internet connection meets your needs.
