Call Me Back in PBXAdmin

Set up and manage Call Me Back in PBXAdmin.

With Ring mig op (Call Me Back), you can create solutions where you receive an email with the contact number of a customer who has requested a callback. This can be, for instance, during times when the business is closed, and customers are given the option to leave their number for a callback.

  1. Under Ring mig op (Call Me Back), you can see all the Call Me Back requests that have been created.

Function  Description
2. Lokalnummer (Local number) Here you can see the local number of the Call Me Back.
3. Navn (Name) Here you can see the name of the Call Me Back.
4. Beskrivelse (Descripton) Can be used for additional recognition of Call Me Back (e.g., which email it's sent to).
5. Tilføj Ring mig op (Add Call me back) Here you can add a new Call Me Back for use in a call flow.

Editing Call Me Back

You can adjust how the company's Call Me Back functions by clicking on a Ring mig op (Call Me Back) in the overview.

Function  Description
1. Navn (Name) Here you can write the name of the Call Me Back.
2. Beskrivelse (Description) Can be used for additional recognition of Call Me Back (e.g., which email it's sent to).
3. Gå til (Go to) If you want the caller to be forwarded to an announcement that says, "Thank you for your input; we will call you back as soon as possible", then select the local number of that announcement here. It's not mandatory to fill this out. If Gå til (Go To) is not filled, the call will be terminated after the number is entered or read from the Caller ID.
4. Email The Call Me Back requests will be sent to this email, which will contain the phone number.

5. Uddrag fra A-nummer

(Extract from caller ID)

If this box is checked, the customer's number will automatically be read and sent to the selected email address. Be aware that the customer might call from one number but wishes to be called back on another. If they desire this, this box should not be checked.

6. Modtag tastetryk af telefonnummer 

(Receive keypad entry of phone number) 

If the box for Uddrag fra A-nummer (Extract from Caller ID) isn't checked, the customer must manually enter the number they wish to be called back on. This is done by entering the number and ending with #. It would be a good idea to mention this in the announcement you set up for Call Me Back.

Example

A customer calls 69142229, which forwards to 'Call Me Back' (Local number 7200).

An announcement tells the customer, "Please enter the number you wish to be called back on and end with the hash sign."

The customer enters 30739007#. An email will be sent to customerservice@yourcompany.com with the text: "Customer has requested a callback. Phone number: 30739007".
