What is WiFi calling?
Use of the local WiFi network for mobile calls.
If your company is fortunate enough to have an office in a building that is very well insulated or built in thick reinforced concrete, it can be a challenge to have signal on the mobile phone indoors.
With WiFi calling, you can let your calls switch over to your own wireless internet when the signal gets too poor on the mobile network. Therefore, you can see your WiFi router as a miniature phone mast.
To be able to utilize the potential in WiFi calling, the individual smartphone must support the technology. See a list of mobile phones with WiFi and VoLTE support.
