      Which Microsoft licenses do I need to use telephony in Microsoft Teams?

      To use Teams telephony, you need a Microsoft 365 license per user, an available Microsoft 365 license, and one Microsoft Teams Phone license per user.

      To use Teams telephony, you need a Microsoft 365 license per user, as well as one additional available Microsoft 365 license (the available Microsoft 365 license is only required during setup/updates), and you need one Microsoft Teams Phone license per user.

       

      Note: If you also want the ability to create conference calls in Microsoft Teams that external phone numbers can dial into, you will need the Microsoft Teams Audio Conferencing license.
      If the Microsoft portal is in Danish, the license is called Microsoft Teams-lydmøde.
